Drawing from a deep well of Korean ceramic tradition—especially the Moon Jar, or dal hang-ari—her work folds past into present with both intuitive and intentional ease. Each piece is a testament to time, marked by cultural heritage, contemporary techniques of the now, and an exploration of what is yet to come through exquisite painterly details that exquisitely animate these forms.
The Place That Waited was created exclusively for Nilaya Anthology to explore the shared resonance in our philosophies and India’s own evolving design landscape that centres itself around materiality, ritual and reimagination.
We encourage you to explore this collection’s ability to contain multitudes—of eras, expressions, and emotional temperatures. Each object is a reflection of both Jane, and her place in the large continuum of culture and craftsmanship.
